A busy day for Cambridge as Platinum Jubilee Weekend ends – Key

Today we have not one, not two, but three jubilee costumes to cover. The first was worn in photos published this morning on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Instagram page, and the second from a Big Jubilee lunch that the couple went before the pageant.

These ensembles are covered in a separate post I will publish in the next hour or two. In this post we will cover the look of Duchess for Jubilee Pageant.

Duchess Stella McCartney wore for today’s Platinum Jubilee competition.

Above, you can see Cambridge arriving in the royal box. Behind them were Mike Tyndale, Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie Johnson.

Another scene from the Duchess and Prince Louis.

The pageant was the culmination of a four-day series marking the Queen’s 70-year reign. Below you will find Prince Charles and Princess Anne; In their back row, Peter Phillips and his girlfriend Lindsay Wallace.

Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank brought their one-year-old son, August, to the pageant. In the front row, you see the Duchess of Gloucester and Lord-Lieutenant Ken Olisa of Greater London.

Princess Beatrice and her husband were also in the pageant, and Mr. Mozi’s son, Wolfe.

National anthem.

The pageant was designed to give “all the excitement and spectacle of an international parade and carnival – amazing and full of wonder and joy … the maharaja’s unwavering duty, a combination of street art, theater, music, circus, carnival and costume to celebrate love in the natural world and the commonwealth” Sacrifice. ”

The pageant was something for everyone.

Leading things off, Gold State Coach.

It was a dramatic scene on the streets of London.

The Queen rode the coach on the day of her coronation. Today, holograms have been used to recreate images from that historic day.

The flag of the Commonwealth of Nations was displayed at the beginning of the pageant.

Fortunately, the rain stopped for the afternoon.

The Defense Ministry said 1,800 sailors, marines, soldiers and pilots, as well as armed band musicians, wore spectacular costumes of a military musical instrument to open the pageant.

More about events from Of the telegraph Coverage:

… Here it is in numbers – from hundreds of horses to billions of visitors.

  • 90: Age of oldest cast member
  • 200: How many horses are taking part
  • 767: The amount of flags on display
  • 100,000: Number of people lined up on the route
  • One billion: the number of people expected to tune in from all over the world

There were floats carrying Dave Myers, Sir Mo Farah, Gock One, Brian Conley and Heston Blumenthal.

Below, Sir Cliff Richard (back to camera in red, white and blue jacket) is waving in the royal box.

The queen had various depictions.

Another version of HM.

And there was Corgis.

For a nanosecond, I thought Kergis was real.

There were dancers.

Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte while they were watching the event.

Crowds were not seen for Trooping the Color, but thousands gathered along the route. Below, a view of Trafalgar Square.

We saw vintage cars made by the British.

And a giant dragon doll called The Hatchling, taller than a double-decker bus, with 18 dolls.

Rethinking things in the royal box, Prince Louis was in quite the character again today.

He was just as expressive in Trooping the Color on Thursday.

Tiara is a tip to any parent managing children at an event like this. Let several of them alone.

Especially when you are in front of television cameras and still photographers.

A long time for anyone to sit for three hours, leave the little ones alone.

I like this shot of the royal box; It had everything, including the Dame Pru Leith, probably known as the one on this side of the pond The Great British Back Off Judge

Mrs. Leith was also part of the pageant. More from Telegraph.

The Drive of The Back of Star hit a road bump when his Jaguar needed a push from volunteers to make it to the bottom of The Mall, but despite the slow progress, he swayed excitedly towards the crowd.

Below, the car getting a push.

Prince George is enjoying the song.

And Prince Louis.

Most of the pageants visiting along the route knew that the final work of the competition was a live performance by Ed Sheeran. Thousands flocked to Buckingham Palace to watch him sing Perfect.

More from The Evening Standard Coverage

Ed Sheeran has done an emotional rendition of his hit song Perfect to close the Platinum Jubilee pageant.

The pop superstar, 31, sang a romantic lyric while playing the guitar as the Queen made a montage of video clips throughout her reign.

The song was chosen as a tribute to the King and his late husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, who appeared in nostalgic video footage.

After Mr. Sheeran performed, the crowd roamed the porch of Buckingham Palace, waiting to see HM. Below, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis peek out the window of a palace.

And then the door opened, and the queen walked out of the crowd with a roar.

Cambridge children shake hands.

The national anthem is played.

It was a brief appearance, but one man waited anxiously.

Here is a one minute video.

Shortly after the appearance, Buckingham Palace released a statement from HM.

Although I could not personally attend each event, my heart was with all of you; And I am committed to serving you to the best of my ability, supported by my family.

The Queen’s complete statement.

Here are some thoughts on Victoria Murphy’s Jubilee Event Cities and countries Columns

The fact that the Queen could not even attend the events originally scheduled for her to mark her milestone anniversary has sharply focused on how new realities we are with her schedule. Nevertheless, he showed us this weekend that at the age of 96, his physical capacity can be greatly reduced, his ability to please the public is greater than ever.

Queen Stuart Parvin wore a double wool crepe, accessorized by gloves, a Rachel Trevor-Morgan hat and her diamond bow brooch.

Now look at what Kate wore.

She wore a dress primarily identified as the Alexander McQueen Design. But a few hours after that ID we got to see the new information From Telegraph Through Middleton Maven.

The mid-length design features dramatic sleeves that are gathered around the wrist balloon, diagonal roaching or shoulder and body, and lightly padded shoulders. In this story the fabric is described as “raspberry red forest-friendly viscose” Freedom.

The Duchess Amy carries Natasha style with piping, looking like a new clutch from London.

The Duchess’s hair was down, and she wore a cluster of vintage flower earrings that we’ve seen a few times.

The earrings display a central flower on a bow-shaped base. Below you see them when you wore May last year; The pictures are better than today.

I think Prince Louis shows how many people are feeling after a busy weekend!
