As a survivor of my own grief, I also know that what is often important to mourners is that those we have lost are not forgotten. There is comfort in remembering. I vividly remember the shock and sadness of the people I met when I visited Manchester in the days after the atrocity… and the emotional turmoil at the memorial service at your cathedral here a year later. For five years I have known that the pain and trauma felt by many has not gone away.
