The Princess of Wales debuted a new British brand for a visit to the Royal Surrey Hospital today.
The princess was there to visit the hospital’s maternity unit and learn about the holistic support it provides to pregnant women and new mothers.

The hospital delivers and cares for about 3,000 babies every year.
Daily Mail Its story notes, “The unit’s ethos is that high-quality maternity and early years care can improve the long-term health of the population – a belief that the Princess of Wales Champions Center for Early Childhood shares in its work.” Some would think the princess is the patron of the Maternal Mental Health Alliance.

…Kate met staff from the Jasmine Team at the unit, which helps one in five women with mental health conditions during pregnancy and the postnatal period. She heard how the team collaborates with local services to provide tailored care and spoke to a mother who has benefited from the support.
The hospital received the UNICEF UK Baby-Friendly Gold Award in 2022 for its work on infant feeding and parent-child relationships. more from The Evening Standard pieces.
She was visiting the hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) which provides specialist neonatal care for small and premature babies to meet a family who helped them bond with their baby.
SCBU is one of the few units nationally that allows mothers to be close to their babies at all times with bedside sleeping facilities around the clock.

On meeting baby Giles Talbot-Erasus, she commented: “I think Louis is a baby but he’s a big boy now. It seems like just yesterday.”
Admiring his mittens covering the long fingernails, she added of the newborn’s scratched-up posture: “George was so stiff, he spent days like that.”

..the new mother, originally from Budapest, Hungary, asked the princess if she wanted to hold the baby while the pair spoke in the hospital’s special baby care unit.
Kate replied: “Am I allowed?” Before a member of staff helped Mrs Novak deliver the baby to Kate. As she cradled Bianca in her arms, Kate said: “She’s so sweet.”
Later, Mrs Novak said: “(The princess) was very nice to talk to. I was really impressed. You don’t seem to have class in you. It’s really beautiful.”
Bianca was born six weeks premature.

In a social media post, Kensington Palace reported: “It was lovely to meet some new mums and their babies who are supported by such a brilliant team at the hospital.”

Princess Amy brought back one of her bags by London. Looks like Natasha was taken to Midnight Navy ($420).
And it looks like she reps her navy Gianvito Rossi 105 pumps.The princess wore a new pair of earrings by another British designer, Emily Mortimer. Thanks again Carly Kate Middleton style, it looks like she was wearing the brand’s Hera white gold and diamond earrings (£795, about $900 at today’s exchange rate). The earrings showcase discrete drops of pavé diamonds surrounding a pear-cut polished gold piece on hinged hoops.
